MICROBLADING
Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment in which pigments are added to the skin to help shape and define your brows. This can also lengthen the size of short eyebrows that would otherwise have to be handled differently or lengthened.
Our SPMUA (semi-permanent makeup Artist) uses face mapping to determine the arch of your eyebrows and to achieve symmetry of both eyebrows. A numbing solution is then applied to minimize the inconvenience of the treatment. The pigment is applied in hair strokes with a micro-blade composed by nano-needles, to fill in sparse areas and give the brows a better and fuller shape. Whether you want your forehead to look natural or strong, microblading can be tailored to suit your personal preferences and face shape.
Microblading is ideal for anyone looking for a 2-3 years solution to full and shaped looking brows. Depending on the skin type, a refill is only necessary every 12 to 18 months.

Areola pigmentation has been an important restorative cosmetic process for many breast cancer patients.
The experience of a breast cancer survivor and/or a mastectomy is a long and difficult one; every patient has a different experience.
At ALINA VELICA, the medical micro-pigmentation process is used to improve the aesthetic appearance of the nipple areola complex after reconstructive breast surgery, assisting breast cancer patients regain their post surgery lifestyles.
Why The Areola Pigmentation Technique?
The application of flesh-colored pigments to the restored areas of the areola is a less invasive supplement or alternative to the skin-grafting procedure, which for many years was the only available method of restoring balanced coloration to the area. The process of areola pigmentation is a careful one and takes 1 – 2 visits to obtain the desired final result.
Areola pigmentation often occurs after surgery. Both after operations as part of a breast cancer treatment, as well as after breast enlargements or breast reductions.

How will my new areolas look?
Alina Velica – our permanent makeup artist (PMU), specialized in Areola Pigmentation, along with yourself, will choose the new areola nipple placement, size, shape, and color to provide for a realistic outcome. Preoperative photos may be used for size and color inspiration or you may want to choose a new color that goes with your skin tone.
At first, the tattoo appears dark and as it heals over 2-3 weeks the true color reveals. A follow-up visit layers detail and color which adds to the finished result.
Can I do a consultation anytime?
Yes, it can be prior to or on the same day as the areola tattoo procedure. Even if you’re still deciding your next step, our PMU will provide you a personalized, private and informational consultation.
AREOLA TATTOO FOR WOMEN & MEN
TREATMENT PROCESS
WHAT DOES AREOLA PIGMENTATION TECHNIQUE INCLUDE ?
After 4 months following breast reconstruction, our ALINA VELICA Areola Artist, Alina – can reconstruct by pigmenting a natural looking nipple and areola. Breast reconstruction may or may not include nipple reconstruction. Either way, there is no color defining the area. Artistic tattoo techniques can create a 3D nipple tattoo for those opting out of the nipple surgery. The goal with the 3D nipple is the illusion of protrusion.
Areola tattooing is generally the finishing touch to breast reconstruction.
How long is each visit?
Each visit is about 2- 3 hours. 1-2 visits are required 4-6 weeks apart.
How long is healing?
The average color healing time is 28 days, time that usually our skin needs to recover. The aftercare is simple and provided at your appointment. You may resume normal activity, however, no immersing underwater/heavy sweating, during the healing time..
Does it hurt?
Although topical anesthetics are available, most clients have little sensation during the procedure. After drawing the outline of the areola and nipple the tattoo process begins. You may feel a vibrating sensation while needles transfer pigment into your skin.
How long does it last?
The reconstruction by pigmentation can last up to several years and gradually fades as all tattoos eventually do.
